Oh Yeah, And I Got A Job.

November 21, 2007 at 12:55 pm (Uncategorized)

It’s 1099 and part-time to start, but it’s a job in my chosen field, and the pay is good. I’m kind of excited to be learning something new. Something law.

I should go clean this house. Tomorrow is the Day o’ Thanks, and I have a guest coming over. This place is preposterously messy.

Did you invite one of those “poor, pathetic souls with nowhere to go on Thanksgiving Day”?
If you’re serving cookie dough, by the way, I might show up myself.

Yeah, you really have to save those poor, poor people who would otherwise sit on the curb and sniffle, cranberryless and alone…

    I can arrange cookie dough.

Well done on the job in your chosen field. That’s worth more than any pay, although it’s nice that the pay is good, too. :)

It’s so good know that I’m not the only one with a preposterously messy house!

    Congrats on the job!!

A job? Damn, I wanted to lure you to the Middle Kingdom.

Best ‘o’ luck. Be thankful this comment isn’t in an orange box.

Sell out! I thought you were cool! I thought we were keeping it real not being lawyers!

biblio, I’ve seen pics of your nightstand. If you can see your nightstand in a pic, your house isn’t preposterously messy enough.

Steve, if there’s no fried chicken ‘n cigarette delivery to my building, I’ll reconsider.

HOW DARE YOU, Wanda! I’m keeping it real! I have at least four collection agencies calling me daily!

    Oh. I apologize.

Congrats on cleaning the house. Anyone can get a job but it takes real talent to clean the house.

Totally. Or, it takes ordering a teenager around to get a house clean. Yay me! He was so grateful for the turkey-makin’ that he did it with barely a grumble.
